Playing Poker to Win
To some people, Poker is just a card game you might play with your buddies at a party or while you might be in jail or something. To others, its way of ife, an income stream, or complete and utter downfall. For me, Poker is becoming a way of life. You can relate just about almost anything to playing Poker. How many times do we bluff in our day to day lives? Ever gone to the mechanic and said, hey i can get this job done for a hundred dollars less down the street? Only to have the mechanic honor your statement and give you a hundred bucks off of your bill. Thats Poker. It dont really matter what the cards you are dealt are, what matters is your ability to play like a champ. If you play like a champ, all your cards will be the best cards. If you play like you are dealt winning cards each and every time you play a round of poker, chances are, more than not, you will win that hand. You wont win every hand, mind you, you will win more than you lose. That is the object of the game, to win more than you lose. Remember that. Walk away a dollar richer and you will have succeeded in your venture. Dont try to get rich in one sitting, although, might be quite possible, just walk away from the table a winner. That was my introduction into Poker, now let me kick some ass and come back here and write about it. Hope to see you soon at a table near you.
